UM Sports Volunteer Programme
Volunteer service is a virtue, which is important in our modern society. It is a civic responsibility and an individual’s soft skills.
The UM Sports Volunteer Training Programme will be launched from the 2022/2023 academic year. It aims to nurture and develop students’ quality to become volunteers through participation in different sports activities and training, and to enhance students’ ability in knowledge integration and application.
Programme Information
Objective
- To recruit students from different faculties and majors
- To promote the concept of volunteer services
- To train professional sports volunteers, develop their functions, and provide opportunities and platforms for students to master and apply knowledge and skills in sports.
- To promote sports volunteer services
- To encourage and appreciate participation in sports volunteering
- To provide sports lectures, workshops, competitions, activities for students to equip with the skills of teamwork and creativity and give back to the campus and community with enthusiasm
